Marianna Kornilaki is a Lecturer in Events Management. Originally from a tourism background, she is currently writing up her PhD thesis. Marianna’s current research interests are in the areas of sustainable management; evaluation of the impacts of events to the local environment and community; small and medium firms’ behaviour and business ethics. Before moving to education Marianna had a successful career in the hospitality and tourism industry working for national companies in Crete, Greece and in Leeds.
