The UK Centre for Events Management will be hosting an event with Geoffrey Boycott OBE on Tuesday, 19th October. An audience of staff, students and guests will hear at first hand about his impressive career in sports, broadcasting and international events as he talks to Gareth Davies, Dean of Carnegie Faculty, and answers questions from the audience. After receiving an Honorary Doctorate in Sports Science from Leeds Met earlier this year, he returns to talk at the Carnegie Stadium where he enjoyed many of his own cricketing triumphs.
