Professor Rhodri Thomas has secured funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) to build on the research he had undertaken for an ESRC funded project undertaken last year on knowledge exchange among business elites in tourism. The funding will enable him to host two round table events for senior practitioners and senior academics, an academic seminar and some exploratory work with the Institute of Travel and Tourism on knowledge exchange and professional development.
