Description

Ben Smith, Research and Evaluations Manager at Shoreditch Trust presented an overview of the social impacts of the Shoreditch Festival. The presentation examined efforts to measure Shoreditch Festival’s contribution to the strengthening of social capital amongst the Shoreditch Community. At the same time the talk highlighted the inherent challenges faced when attempting to deliver a piece of evaluation work, that is both robust and context sensitive, particularly when operating within a resource scarce voluntary sector environment.
