The third edition of Events Management has been published by Butterworth-Heinemann, written by Glenn A J Bowdin (UK Centre for Events Management, Leeds Metropolitan University), Johnny Allen (Australian Centre for Events Management, University of Technology in Sydney), William O'Toole (International Event Development Specialist, Sydney), Rob Harris (Australian Centre for Events Management at University of Technology in Sydney) and Ian McDonnell (University of Technology in Sydney).

Events Management has been revised, expanded and updated to reflect developments and changes in priorities in the Events Management industry. Changes include new chapters on sustainable development and events, perspectives on events, and expanded content on marketing, legal issues, risk and health and safety management. It is full of real-life case studies which illustrate key concepts and place theory in a practical context.
