UKCEM is one of the world’s foremost academic centres focusing on teaching and researching various issues associated with events and festivals. Our goal is to contribute effectively to advancing knowledge and to create sustainable partnerships to strengthen research-informed professional practice.
We collaborate with various partners who are also interested in understanding issues related to events and festivals and making an impact on practice. Our multi-disciplinary scholars engage in events and festivals research related to sport, the arts, popular culture, tourism and various other fields.
