The Arts Council are funding Leila Jancovich from the Centre and Professor Franco Bianchini, from the Cultural Planning and Policy Unit in the School of Cultural Studies, to create opportunities for knowledge exchange between cultural researchers, policy makers, managers and practitioners. The project will also create a network of researchers with similar interests across the cultural research sector in Yorkshire and the North of England and create opportunities to explore cross university collaboration. It is hoped this will include different disciplinary perspectives and will result in a publication on participation and engagement in cultural activities, to be edited by Leila Jancovich and Franco Bianchini.
