New Book Published on Sustainable Events

Razaq Raj and James Musgrave have edited a collection of essays on the theme of events management in the context of sustainability. The book, published by CABI, represents a significant advancement in current thinking on this important topic. Drawing on international research and cases studies the book will be of value to those interested in a spectrum of events ranging from sports to conferences and festivals.

The following chapters were written by members of UKCEM: Chapter 1 – Conceptual framework for sustainable events – James Musgrave and Razaq Raj; Chapter 6 – The economics of sustainability - Razaq Raj and James Musgrave; Chapter 14 - Planning models for creating sustainable events - Phil Clements and Sarah Saeed-Khan.
