Glenn is an experienced lecturer who has been working at Leeds Met for fifteen years, thirteen involved in developing the events programmes.  His current research interest lies in the development of events research, including impacts, quality and quality costing. He is Chair of AEME (Association for Events Management Education), Chartered Member of the International EMBOK Executive and on the editorial boards of Event Management and Journal of Convention & Event Tourism.  In 2006 he co-authored Events Management (2nd edition) and is co-Series Editor of the Elsevier Butterworth-Heinemann Events Management Series. Glenn is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
